A poetic audio visual multi art-form experiment exploring the potential of listening as a form of creative agency. An installation and web based collaborative media arts work featuring poetry, music, field recordings, sound design and images. Water evokes, dissolves and contains memories. If we listen we can hear. Aqueous was created as part of Denmark Art's The Music of Poetry project. Aqueous was presented as an installation for the Denmark Festival of Voice, 2021. Composer, sound designer and media artist, Marianthe Loucataris worked with poets Barbara Temperton, Maree Dawes, Kim Scott, Yann Toussaint and Tim Dunn to create these works.
